The cost of Invisalign in our clinic is significantly lower than cost of invisalign in USA,UK, AUSTRALIA and several other countries, though we offer the same standard of better treatment at kdc.
Aligners vs Braces
Clear aligners are commonly called invisible braces and have the obvious benefits of being less noticeable than standard metal or ceramic braces. Aligners can only be seen close up and are often undetectable in photos.
Oral Hygiene with Aligners vs Braces:
It is vital for all orthodontic patients to adopt good teeth brushing habits, clear aligners will give good oral hygiene. Clear aligner patients are less likely to develop the calcium (or) spots(or) severe gum problems that braces patients can develop with poor habits.
For the type of patient who may frequently “forget” to wear their aligners, however braces are a great option because they are glued onto the teeth.
We, generally prefer treating adults with aligners, but they are a variable option for responsible teens, as well.
Day to day with Aligners:
Aligners won’t cause you to deviate from your normal routine. A typical day with aligners might look like this.
Morning:
When you wake up, remove the aligner and clean by giving it a quick rinses and brushing under the tap.
Then brush and floss your teeth as you normally.
When you eat breakfast and drink your coffee, remove the aligners.
After you are done eating, brush your teeth once more and then pop in your aligner tray.
During the day:
To avoid sipping on soda, tea , coffee (or) any beverages other than water throughout the day.
Don’t chew gum with the trays and always remove the trays during meals.
You don’t want stray food particles trapped in your teeth since this can increase your risk of tooth decay.
We do recommend that you put your aligners on your teeth after meals even if you have not had an opportunity to brush.
Before bed:
Clean your aligners again and floss a brush your teeth thoroughly before wearing the aligner for the night.
Most of our patients are surprised at how little invisalign impacts their daily routine. Infact, many experience an improvement in their oral health since they tend to pay more attention to brushing, flossing and keeping their teeth clean while wearing the trays.
A new tray, a new day:
Approximately every 2 to 4 weeks you will upgrade to a new aligner. When you do, you may experience some mild comfort as the new aligner begins slightly repositioning your teeth. In addition , limiting your diet to softer foods for a day (or) two after switching aligners can help you stay more comfortable.
In our clinic we have invisalign, precisalign and clear aligners to make your smile beautiful and comfortable at the affordable cost.
